We are not accepting any event space requests that have an event date of August 31st or prior. We will consider event space requests for events that are set for September 1st or later. Due to furniture placement and social distancing guidelines, many events may not be possible in our event spaces. They will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and we will do our best to accommodate them.

Event Spaces

The primary purpose of the building is to provide classroom, research, and study space; however, several areas in the Miller Learning Center are conducive to hosting events, such as the Frank Daniel Foley, Jr. Rotunda, Jacqueline and John Head Terrace, North Tower, and Sidney Samuel Thomas Reading Room. Reserve these spaces through the Miller Learning Center online request form or emailing Katherine Wilson at kswilson@uga.edu.

University of Georgia departments and registered student organizations are eligible to reserve event spaces in the MLC. These departments and organizations are fully responsible for coordination of the event, compliance with the policies and procedures outlined here, and damage to facilities and equipment during their event.

General classrooms are not considered event spaces and must be reserved through Campus Reservations.
