Sidney Samuel Thomas Reading Room
The Sidney Samuel Thomas Reading Room is a traditional library space with eight fixed 10-foot solid cherry tables, 64 leather-bottomed chairs, an additional 32 soft seats, and book-lined shelves. It contains a small non-circulating collection including University of Georgia Press titles, graphic novels, and the Nash Boney collection. It also functions as quiet study space for students.

As an event space, the room is conducive to a small lecture, reading, or possibly a small reception. It is intimate with doors allowing privacy. There are few electrical outlets in the room and no data ports. Since this room is primarily intended for quiet study, it is not readily available as an event space. Exceptions may be made during low building usage times such as weekends, intersession, or summer semester. (Reservation form and policy.)
